GEON Collective

GEON A/V is a collective formed to deliver larger-scale photography and video projects across industrial and craft sectors.

This project followed a collaboration between Aria Stone Gallery and designer Sarah Sherman Samuel, documenting the selection of a curated stone collection at its source in Carrara, Italy.

The work focused on capturing both the scale of the quarry environment and the detail, texture and character of the materials themselves.

Working as part of the GEON A/V collective, I was responsible for photography and aerial video production across the project.

This included capturing still imagery for use across web, social and publications, alongside drone footage used within the main campaign video.

The approach balanced documentary-style coverage of the environment with more considered visual storytelling, highlighting both process and material.

The content was used across marketing, editorial and digital platforms, supporting the launch of the collection and extending its reach beyond the initial collaboration.

By capturing the full context — from quarry to selection — the work adds depth and authenticity to the story behind the materials, helping position the collection as both considered and distinctive.

It also demonstrates the ability to work across industrial environments in a more editorial, design-led context.
